Curd beneficial for oily skin
Yogurt helps to soak up excess facial oil. Apply curd on your face and leave it for 15 minutes, then wash your face with cold water.
Mix equal amount of oatmeal, honey and curd and apply it on the face and keep it for 15 minutes and wash it with warm water.
Take an equal amount of oatmeal and aloe vera and make a paste (gharelu nuskhe for oily skin). Massage your skin with this paste with light hands and leave it for 10-15 minutes then wash the face with water. This is a very good oily skin care tip.
Massage the skin with a slice of cucumber before bed at night and leave. In the morning wash the skin with warm water.
Prepare a paste by mixing one-fourth teaspoon turmeric powder, half teaspoon lemon juice and one teaspoon honey. Apply it on face and let it dry when it dries, then wash face with lukewarm water. You can try this remedy for oily skin care.
Take one spoon of sandalwood powder, two teaspoons gram flour, half teaspoon turmeric powder, two drops of rose oil, two drops of lavender oil and one teaspoon of milk, all mixed into a paste. Apply it on the face and after drying, wash it with lukewarm water.
Mix one spoon lemon juice, half spoon honey and one spoon milk. Apply this paste on the face and leave it for 10-15 minutes, then wash it with cold water.
Make a thick paste by mixing one teaspoon of wheat flour, one teaspoon of honey and two spoons of curd. Applying this paste on the face twice a week enhances oily skin.
Benefits of Tomato in Oily Skin
Tomato contains oil absorbing acid which helps in absorbing excess oil from the skin. Massage the skin with a piece of tomato until the skin soaks up its juice, then wash it with cold water for 15 minutes.
Make a paste by mixing three teaspoons orange peel powder, four teaspoons milk, one teaspoon coconut oil and two to four teaspoons rose water. Apply it on the face and wash it for 15-20 minutes.
Green tea also benefits from drinking as well as applying on the face. It has polypholic and anti-inflammatory properties which protect us from skin related diseases. Make a paste by taking two spoons of green tea, one teaspoon lemon juice, one teaspoon rice flour. Apply it on the face for 15-20 minutes. After this wash the face with fresh water.
Take 2-3 spoons of fenugreek seeds and keep it to soak overnight. The next morning grind it into a paste, massage it on the face for a while and leave it to dry. When dry, wash with cold water.
